| Banana Kelly High School is a New Visions school in the South Bronx serving approximately 400 students. In 2006, a research report from the NYU Institute for Education and Social Policy singled out Banana Kelly High School as a NYC public school that “Beats the Odds.” This study was designed to see what NYC public school students went on to successful college careers in the CUNY system. Banana Kelly was one of 13 schools (out of 148) whose students went on to successful CUNY careers. Banana Kelly High School is committed to creating spaces where a community of students, parents and teachers can learn and grow. |
